Virtual Skeptics is a weekly live video webcast started in August 2012 with a panel of skeptics including myself. We discuss a handful of skeptic news topics of the week. It is done via a Google Hangout on Air that occurs on Wednesday nights at 8:00 PM Eastern U.S. time. You can watch it live (and ask questions of us!) or watch it later on YouTube.
Here’s a recent episode in which I participated:
You can find older episodes at the Virtual Skeptics website.
The panel:
- Brian Gregory – Host and creator of Virtual Drinking Skeptically
- Eve Siebert – Editor and blogger at Skeptical Humanities, Skepticality contributor and blogger at INSIGHT at skeptic.com.
- Bob Blaskiewicz – Committee for Skeptical Inquiry’s Conspiracy Guy web columnist, JREF Swift Blog contributor, and blogger for Skeptical Humanities
- Barbara Drescher – blogger at ICBS Everywhere and contributor to The Odds Must Be Crazy and blogger at INSIGHT at skeptic.com
- Tim Farley – your host here at skeptools.
We sometimes have guest panelists on the show, we welcome suggestions of that or for topics to be discussed. Older episodes featured Sharon Hill – Editor of Doubtful News – but she’s no longer a regular on the program.
